Win dinner at Hibachi Xpress and tickets for 4 to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with our local “Indiana Jones”

I know what you’re thinking, Indiana Jones did not like snakes, but our local Indy has one that is need of a name

“Indy” and his snake will make a special appearance

Friday May 16th 5-8pm at Hibachi Xpress in Apex

Where kids (of all ages!) can enter to name the snake. The winner will receive tickets to Indiana Jones IV and dinner at Hibachi Xpress. Charles/Indy will even throw in a bag of “treasure” as a bonus, have dinner, attend the movie in character with the winner, and answer questions about his travels and adventures throughout the world.

Our local Indy, Charles Zidar (pictured above), has one that is need of a name. The unnamed snake (also pictured above)is a seven-foot long Red-tailed Boa from the Amazon, rescued from the Wake County animal shelter. Charles/Indy has worked in archaeology in Greece, Cyprus, Belize, Florida, and Ohio. He has also worked in paleontology in North Carolina, Florida and Wyoming. He has traveled to over 40 countries as the former Assistant Director for a natural history museum in South Florida. He has uncovered buried treasure, discovered dinosaurs and been shot in the middle of a jungle, an now he has a snake in need of a name!

They are not sure yet if it is a boy or girl, so any creative name will do. So put on your fedora, grab your whip and come up with your most creative snake name. “Why did it have to be snakes?”
